Guide to Implementing the New South Wales Child Safe Standards

The New South Wales Child Safe Standards (NSW Standards) came into operation through amendments to the Children’s Guardian Act 2019 (NSW) that took effect (apart from the enforcement provisions) on 1 February 2022.

This guide is designed to break down the 10 NSW Standards so that your school knows what to focus on when applying each of the NSW Standards to the school’s policies, procedures and practices.
